Team Registration Details:

​

• Registration Fee: $25 per person (plus registration platform fees); Children under five are free.

• Proceeds: All proceeds go to RedHead Strays and Brilliant Labs

• Team Size: 2-5 people per team

• Event Date: Nov 09, 2024

• Location: Market Square Atrium, Saint John, NB

• Arrival Time: Teams are asked to arrive for setup and check-in between 10:45 am and 11:45 am

• Competition Time: The competition horn will sound at 12:30 pm to start the event, which will end at 3:30 pm. Judges deliberation from 3:30pm-4:00pm; Announcements 4:00pm-4:30pm.

Event Highlights:

​

• CAT-egories: Compete in either the Healthy Happy Home or Smart Home categories

• Design & Build: Teams can predesign their homes, but all construction must be completed during the 3-hour event window

• Supplies: Teams can bring unique supplies or items, with general supplies provided by sponsors

• Judging: Judges will recognize winners in both CAT-egories, followed by honourable mentions

• People's Choice Award: Spectators vote for their favourite homes by purchasing voting tokens

• Spectator Activities: Enter to win gift baskets and giveaways

Rules:

• Teams consist of 2-5 members.

• All construction must be completed within the 3-hour time slot from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm.

• Teams can predesign their homes but cannot start construction until the competition begins.

• General supplies will be provided, but teams are encouraged to bring unique items to enhance their designs.

• The event will conclude at 4:30 pm with the announcement of winners and the People's Choice Award.
